Complete Infrastructure

        Infrastructure in the QJEDA is built at high level. It is planned to be facilitated with “seven connections and one leveling”. All pipes for water supply, sewerage, rainwater, gas, electric power, communication, cable TV and so on are laid underground. The hardware environment is superior. To help minimizing the investment cost, the QJEDA has built standard workshops, where various infrastructures such as electricity, water and communication are available and perfect property management is offered as well.

Perfect Living Facilities

        The QJEDA is planned to have a population of 220,000 and covers a land of 5.39 km2. Three core areas are going to build: central intelligence area, comprehensive area, and ecological living area.

         The central intelligence area integrates R&D, education, display, offices and commerce together. It is the intelligence center of knowledge, innovation and growing and the gathering place of people, space and intelligence. The comprehensive area is the public center of QJEDA, including commerce, culture, entertainment, hotels, education, R&D. The ecological living area is a high-grade community integrating living, recreation and entertainment, lying besides the “West Pacific” and Great Canal.

        Two large communities have set up: Quangzhang and Zhujiajiao. The school and kindergarten have completed in 2008.

        The public bus is available from the QJEDA to urban Hangzhou, Tangxi and Linping, and between the two communities.

        The temporary living facilities has put into use, including supermarket and catering. A 200,000 m2 comprehensive facilities center has been built and will gradually put into use to provide all-around service, which integrates offices, boarding, supermarket, catering, post service, medical care and entertainment.

Abundant Human Resources

        Hangzhou has over 80% colleges, universities and scientific research institutes in Zhejiang Province, that is to say, about 40 universities and colleges, including the largest comprehensive university-Zhejiang University. It also has more than half of the talents of the province. The total enrollment in those universities and colleges is over 300,000. Meanwhile, the QJEDA is adjacent to the largest higher education park, Xiasha Higher Education Park, which provides various special talents and rich labor force resource. It is the strong technical backup for investment and venture.
