1. Public highway
The development zone is located at the northwest side of Linping City, and the main transportation to the outside includes No. 320 National Road, No. 09 Provincial Road, Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, Jiaxing-Huzhou-Hangzhou Expressway that is under planning, Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, Haining east and west avenues and Hangzhou City Ring Expressway, of which Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, No. 320 National Road and Hangzhou City Ring Expressway pass the south side of this development zone, No. 09 Provincial Road and Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway pass the west side of this zone, so the transportation is quite convenient.
Linping Passenger Station is a Grade II one, its daily delivery volume of passengers is about 2,247 person / time, and its main business is for the long distance passenger transport across provinces and cities and between a partial cities; it is to be restructured as a bus station and Linping North Passenger Station will be newly built near No. 320 National Road and with Linping South Passenger Station they will form an integral part of the passenger transport hinge stations in the major hinge passenger transport system of Hangzhou public highway. Tangxi Passenger Station is a non-primary hinge station.
Banshan Logistics Centre (locates near the intersection of No. 320 National Road and the city ring highway) and Linping North Industry Area Logistics Base (locates at the industry area near No. 320 National Road) are defined in the planning of the major hinge logistics system of Hangzhou public highway.
2. Water transportation and wharf
The main waterway is Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Cannel which is not only an important integral part of Hangzhou cargo transport but is also an important water transportation routine for the cargo shipping of Linping industry area.
Wharfs are widely spread in Yuhang harbour area which includes Chongxian Harbour District, Renhe Harbour District and Linping Harbour District. The major wharfs around this development zone are Tangtingyang Work Zone (locates at the former Wuhang Town at the northeast corner of the planned land occupancy) and Tangxi Automotive Applications Dock.
3. Air transportation
The development zone is around 35km away from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport which may set up a civil aviation ticket office within Linping industry area to facilitate air transportation here; it is around 180km away from Shanghai Pudong International Airport and it takes less than 2 hours by car.
4. Railroad
Linping has one railway passenger station which is a short distance and interval station with the annual passenger delivery volume as 10,000 person/time.
As for Qiaosi Marshalling Yard, its first stage of project has been basically finished and is of Grade I with three squares and the delivery capacity is 3,808 vehicles.
At the southwest there are Linping Cargo Transport Station and Xuanhang Railway which are planned to reserve conditions for developing railway transportation.
5. Freight ring road system
The freight transportation within Linping industry area is organized with the city ring highway by forming the freight road system with the east linkage line (Donghu Road express way), No. 320 National Road and Heyu Road to radiate to the outside and link to Shanghai. |
